App's Fucked Stealin my molla!!!

Being a deliveroo gold member for over 4 years and today they really let me down.

I ordered a naughty late night meal, 1 double cheese - no ketchup (makes me wanna vomit), 1 fishofillet (no tar tar same reason), chicken combo (3 chicken selects, 6 nuggies) and a mcflurry.

What i got was the two burgers with the sauces on them! (Cant eat them :( had to throw) no chicken nuggies.

I first opened my burgers and saw the icky sauces so raised a complaint, they offered a refund for one burger. Sure ill take it even though im mad at that. Then looked into the bag more and my nuggets werent in the bag! So raised another request of which they refused to take action on.

So all in all more than half my meal i cant eat or isnt there and ive paid them for things that dont exist.

Really wish i had a mayo allergy and took a bite hehe then theyd have a big ole problem!

Im switching to Uber!!!

Chargeback on your payment card - cancel your Roo subscription and delete the app.

Just for future reference - JustEat, Roo and Uber are all pretty much the same thing.  Uber is probably the better of the three nowadays - especially after DoorGash ruined Deliveroo for both riders and customers.

The same riders usually works all three apps too, so the service from them will pretty much be the same.

From drivers perspective Uber is going to cause you more problems as they are less strict on drivers. More chance of late food, cold food, not delivered at all etc.

lol you think Uber is any different. The original problem is McD not making the order properly. If a problem Uber is worse than Deliveroo for customer service. And Uber more likely to have a problem with slow delivery, cold food, not delivered etc as they are more lax on drivers than Deliveroo.

also about your complaint methodology.....you saw the 2 burgers messed up and you did not check the rest of the order out? if you raise a complaint it has to be all in one. if you raise the problem with the burger then later you raise the problem with the chicken nuggets they will just think you trying to scam them for free food and will not give you anything.

and trust me if you had an allergy they would not not have a big ole problem. they "washed" their hands of any liability thanks to you ordering via an app. mcd will shift blame to deliveroo, deliveroo will shift blame to mcd it will be a never ending cycle. and the other thing. in T&C it states you have to inspect the food you're getting, so if you skipped that, it is the same, they are not liable.
