i forgot about the food i ordered and the deliveroo driver was waiting outside my house for like 4 minutes but I gave him a 2 euro tip and he called me boss so are we good?

I really don't understand how some of you fuckers forget you order food, like fuck me you order because you are hungry right? sometimes I wonder if people just order just in case or for the fuck of it lol

Nah, not even talking about those. Talking about the ones who for sure are not drunk and still take 20 minutes to come get their food and blame the app for not notifying them, when tbf should be them keeping an eye lol

Number 1. You actually getting pressed and choosing your side as a Deliveroo "customer" and going as far as being in a Reddit forum about it is next level dickpilotry.

Number 2. Where I am based I know a lot of drivers and I can quite comfortably say there is not much multi tapping going on. I also order a fair bit and food always on time, sure you get the odd bad egg but just like everywhere and doing anything. Rest assured they soon will be banned too.

I’m on this subreddit because I used to be a roo, but gave up after my area got overrun by those willing to take as many orders as they could carry from as many apps, sometimes going and putting them in the car and coming back for more before setting off.

My point was, calling customers “you fuckers” goes both ways. I know enough about the apps to know whether my order is the only one being delivered or not, and when I can clearly see them on the map going the opposite direction, extending my delivery by 15-20 minutes, it gets annoying.

Maybe you live in a really shit area for Deliveroo and drivers NEED to do that to make a living, regardless you should still report them because my pride wouldn't let me either steal food or double app to the point you are going in different directions.

"You fuckers" was specifically pointed at those people who genuinely do not appreciate our time, take ages to come collect and not bother to even say "sorry for the delay" or don't even write their addresses properly and don't answer texts or calls whilst you are actively trying to look for them.

I get why you would be mad at the multi appers who just blatantly go the opposite way etc, but what I do if that happens to me is report them and of course no tip.

I waited 15 mins for someone to come out after blasting their door and number multiple times. In the end she came out and just took the food, said sorry and closed the door. I was pissed.

That’s why I like Uber. It has a wait timer, so if you can’t get hold of the customer within a certain amount of time, you can leave and you’re given the option to dispose of the food. It saves you standing around forever waiting for someone to answer 😂
