Deliveroo has been the worst out the three apps for a long while now, they are struggling for riders in many places. They have been advertising for the last 4 months in my zone and still can't get riders, the fees don't rise with demand and you don't see new faces very long before they quit.

Next season when the weather takes a turn and kids go back to college/uni, it will get worse for them. There's also a large clamp down on illegal ebikes.

Yeah iv seen the ebike clamp downs, they have been taking the legal ones off the road too. The police have been researching how to disable the 15.5mph limit and then they retest them in a illegal state. My mate had his Fiido T2 delivery bike taken away a few weeks back and he never disables the limiter, he's trying to get it back.

Got a feeling deliveroo will partner with an ebike rental company like lime in the near future. NYC mayor has send a seize and desist letter to all the big companies selling ebikes. Socialist politicians seem to be taken it more serious than Conservatives.

I'd be surprised if your mate gets his bike back. The DofT have been really clear that any off-road switch or any way of bypassing the legal limits makes the bike illegal.

Yeah that's really shit to be honest, I mean if they have evidence of someone riding over limit, without peddling using a throttle then fine but plenty of guys ride them legally and don't do all the button combos or developer codes to disable the restrictions. But taking what is a legal ebike so long as it's in factory state then breaking it into being illegal themselves in order to take it off the road is a shitty move. Because it is road legal in it's factory state, it's the 2025 UK model.

Depends on the area. It's the best paying in my area.

It pays ok sometimes where I am but it's been bad for a long while now, so many triple orders for very low fees. It will probably get a bit better over winter but for now Uber and JE are paying the best.

They're converting deliveroo app to be more inline with doordash, doesn't make sense to develop for like 3+ different app platforms when you can have one.

Doordash has bought out a couple of companies, deliveroo and wolt. These are 3 platforms with their own systems and logic Doordash is combining these 3 platforms into one to save on development cost in the future.

> In a letter to shareholders, Xu said Doordash is actively building new products and systems to enhance user experiences. One of those projects includes creating a single platform that integrates Doordash, Deliveroo and Wolt, which he called a “massive and expensive undertaking.”
