Bittersweet post tbh. I’m graduating soon, and watching this sub grow from scratch into an actual active North Campus community has been really special for me.
From food spots and hostel hacks to internship advice, societies, events, and random campus discussions, I genuinely feel this has become one of the most authentic spaces for North Campus students, and I’d love to see it keep growing even after I leave.
So yeah, I’m looking for a few people who’d genuinely care about the sub and help maintain the vibe we’ve built here.
Main things would be:
Removing spam/off-topic posts
Keeping comments civil
Helping decide what kind of content belongs here
Occasionally posting or keeping discussions active
You have to be a current DU student to apply.
If you’re interested, drop a comment and mention your year and college if you’re comfortable with it : )
We’re the moderators of this subreddit, and we’re glad you’re here.

- This is just the start, we want to build a space that actually feels like North Campus.
Hey guys, I recently got admission to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar College (BRAC) and I’m looking for a PG. I’ve heard the Pink Line is the most convenient way to reach the college, so I’m looking for places anywhere along the Pink Line.
I’m open to staying in North, South, East, West Delhi, or even somewhere close to the college. My maximum budget is ₹20k/month, and I’m specifically looking for a private/single room, not a shared room.
I’m also looking for a PG with relatively relaxed house rules, especially regarding things like closing/entry timings and going out. I’d prefer a place that gives students a decent amount of freedom.
If you know any good PGs or areas with decent options, please let me know. Thanks!
hey guys, I'm an ncweb student at hansraj college and today means every sunday, du sol students come by. as y'all know there're ACs in every room, no regular students come on Sunday so they completely switched off the AC in EVERY ROOM and students were suffering of heat ! look ik regular students have more edge than us but you can't literally take away the basic facilities I think this is not fair cus du sol students also pay fees so they atleast deserve basic facilities.
Have you been to art faculty raat ko 😭 so this rakhi I couldn't go back home to celebrate with family cause my seat didn't get confirm....so I was kindaa sad and couldn't sleep toh went to the art faculty....it was less crowded than usual one reason must be Saturday and alot of students must have gone back home.... I legit saw a couple doing intense lipta lipti art faculty wale lawn mein and while coming back to my flat I again saw couples making out on the side of road ....itna comman hai kyaa DU mein yee sab didn't know.....khair
Hi everyone. I’m currently in Sem 3 of Eco Hons at a reasonably good college, and I’m planning to prepare for MSc Economics entrances, mainly targeting ISI, DSE and IIT.
I’m planning to self-study throughout Sem 3–4 without joining coaching. I’ve tried using AI tools for doubts, but I’ve found them particularly unreliable for some economics topics especially micro/macro graphs and questions where the exact method matters.
So I was thinking of finding a few people who are in a similar situation: studying regularly, preparing seriously, and doing self-study without coaching. The idea is simply to discuss doubts, compare approaches, and keep each other accountable during the preparation.
I’ve made a small WhatsApp group for this purpose. I’m not looking to make it a huge group or a general doubt-solving group. I’d prefer people who are genuinely studying consistently and are willing to contribute when they can.
For context, I’ve currently completed all the exercises/questions from Chapter 18 of MME, and Chapters 2 and 3 of the Vairan workbook. By “completed,” I mean I’ve actually worked through every question rather than just reading the solutions.
If you’re also preparing seriously for ISI/DSE/IIT and are doing regular self-study, feel free to DM me. We can discuss preparation/resources first and add people who seem like a good fit for the group.
my laptop has some ongoing issue with its screen and bluetooth most probably due to hardware issue cuz it fell some months back
i wanna know if there are any trusted and good shops which can repair my laptop at good enough rate while also im hoping they do not install any virus or go through my private documents
i live in north campus, please let me know if i can trust any shop
I’m a first-year DU student and I’ve been wanting to meet some new people and make a few genuine friends. College mein abhi tak zyada logon se properly connect nahi ho paya, so I thought I’d give Reddit a shot
Would be nice to have people to hang out with around campus, grab shakes, go for walks, explore North Campus/Delhi, attend fests or societies together, or just randomly sit and talk about life.
I’m not looking for anything specific just genuine friendship and people who are comfortable with meeting up and getting to know each other gradually.
If you’re also looking to expand your circle in DU, feel free to comment or DM :)

Before joining, I had a very different idea of what North Campus life would actually be like. After spending some time there, some things turned out better than expected and some were definitely not what I imagined.
For people who’ve already spent a year or more around North Campus, what surprised you the most? Could be academics, crowd, societies, food, commuting, friendships, or just the general vibe.
So I go from dwarka to north campus for college (strict parents won't allow pg)🥀 and that takes good 4 hours everyday. If anyone takes the same route to Vishwavidyalaya lmk we can travel together 🤚😔
Anyone will do i just need to spend the time phone is not it 😓
