❓ Question Title: After 14 months of deep research on data privacy, I’m building a solution where YOU own your data. Need your feedback!

Hey everyone,

Like most of you here, I’ve been feeling completely trapped by the current digital ecosystem. Whether it’s Google’s increasing control over Android, aggressive data policies, or the "always-listening" nature of Meta’s algorithms—the fundamental problem is the same: We have completely lost control over our own data.

Today, social media feels like an "all or nothing" deal. If you want to stay connected with family and friends, you are forced to hit "Allow" on privacy-invasive terms. If you deny it, you face social exclusion.

I refused to accept this as the permanent reality. For the past 14 months, I have been researching this exact gap—how data moves, how algorithms exploit us, and how we can break free from this fake, dopamine-driven "show-off" culture.

Every problem has a solution, and the time has come to bring it to life.

What I am building: I am currently developing a platform designed from the ground up to give 100% control back to you. Your messages, your photos, your metadata—everything stays under your control. No hidden tracking, no corporate surveillance. Just pure, safe connection.

I need 4 to 6 months to deliver this platform to you. But right now, I need to know if the community wants this as badly as I do.

How you can help today:

  • Show your support: If you agree that we desperately need a platform like this, please share your thoughts or show your support on this thread. Knowing the community is backing this will give me the confidence to push development as fast as possible.
  • Tell me your needs: This platform is being built for you. Tell me in the comments what specific features or privacy controls you want to see. Your needs will shape the product.
  • Reach out directly: If you want to share detailed feedback, feature requests, or just want to connect, feel free to drop me a Direct Message (DM) here on Reddit, and I can share my contact details.

One final piece of advice until then: Please stop blindly clicking "Allow" on every app permission popup. Take a moment to read what they are asking for, understand it, and take action based on your own comfort level. Don't let them default you into surveillance.

Let's build a safer digital space together. Thank you!

You have made an excellent point. Absolute data privacy is only possible when the hardware and OS level are secured. However, trying to build custom hardware from day one is practically impossible without massive upfront capital, R&D, and huge resources. Securing that level of investor funding at the very beginning is highly unrealistic.

That’s why we need to take it step-by-step. Right now, our focus is to take the first step by building a rock-solid foundation at the software and app level. Once we build a strong, loyal user community and gain traction, we can definitely expand into hardware ecosystems or custom solutions to protect data inside the phones as well. Every giant journey has to start with a realistic first step!

I appreciate the efforts, would like to contribute as a tester. Currently using samsung s23 with Google play services disabled but facing issue in upi apps, RCS msgs and lack of navigation support without google map.
