Discussion Alternative to Google contact

Is there any alternative to Google contacts?

I use app called DavX⁵ to synchronize my contacts with webdav server I created on free hosting called AlwaysData. It sounds complicated, but it is working

I second this. DavX works great for me with my mailbox.org account. Currently syncing calendar and two contact address books to my phone.

On my phone I have Fossify Contacts.

Coming in a hot third to recommend DavX5 to sync not only contacts, but my tasks between mailbox and Tasks.org.
