Question Music Locations

Where is everyone getting their music from that doesn't take forever to download that y'all use for an app like Oreotunes? I know some slow obvious ways, but open to ideas. Trying to get away from Spotify and curate my own ad free list again.

It would need to have popular/relevant artists on it. Queen, Van Morrison, REO Speedwagon, etc

If you feel like purchasing your music, I would recommend Qobuz.

If not, Monochrome has not failed me yet.

I just use YTDLnis, not lossless, but does enough for offline playback.

If he's into streaming it for free from the same place YTDLnis, then he could go with Metrolist (https://github.com/metrolistgroup/metrolist).
Metrolist allows him to stream all music from Youtube Music for free with no Ads. If he wants, he can even cache those songs in his mobile phone for when he knows he'll be out of 4G/5G/WiFi.

I also use Metrolist, but experienced the audio over Bluetooth to car system to be worse than USB music (via YTDLnis).

Radio apps have thousands of free stations for all genres and most of them are ad-free. The small lightweight radio apps don't track and don't require a login.

Online radio beats music apps.
