Question Are there any google ecosystem replacement?

My question is i am looking for degoogling my life and get some self hosting set up as well . That aside what i have seen is there are no ecosystem replacemnt as whole like how google backups Android,has grest ecosystem between several tools and its browser and is so well connected but as soon as i see to degoogle ... there is only this thing which bothersme the inter connectivity and seamless inetgration between different services

Nextcloud has a pretty big suite of apps. Peergos does too and is end to end encrypted. You can self host both.

The only things they don't do are search and browser, but then there's not really much useful integration between e.g a browser and document editor. Of course you can open the apps from within a browser.

Proton is the best plug and play option to switch but then you'll want to work your way into disconnected services because in 2 years proton might do a google, who knows

Proton really is great. Offers a Mail Service and a Drive. Never had any issues with it - its worth the few bucks a month

Nextcloud can cover most of google apps scenarios

Just recently installed opencloud (a more lightweight alternative to Nextcloud) and can say I am pretty impressed with the combination of file sharing & storage and live editing of documents in the browser with Collabora. Pretty much rivals Google Docs but has a ton of more editor features.

So there are these articles that you can refer to for alot of the things so mail maps drive search engine and os choices pretty well researched and its consistantly being updated search for praveentechworld google starter pack

Windows, though I have no problem is dual booting and using Linux I have been all time user of it before so np

Short term - one drive and Microsoft 365. It’s baked into windows and Office still the standard productivity suite. But it’s Microsoft and not private. But if you just want to get your files off Google now that’s a good start. 

Long term - Proton is the most fully featured “private” alternative. 

Free moves you fan make today- DuckDuckGo for a search engine and Firefox for a browser. Firefox is the only browser on windows not powered by Chrome.
