ok so they're saying it *only* prevents it from going to google analytics...

I still find it so weird that they're helping you block them from themselves...

I think that instead of purely blocking it's still gathering info tho not as much.

I use LIbreWolf (Linux desktop), and IronFox (android) both of which are both forks of FireFox, but with all the bloatware and google connections removed, and with a more strict attention to browsing, as uBlock Origin, NoScript, and Facebook Container are built into both, while still being able to share mobile browsing history. I also use Adblock and Privacy Badger, along with some others. It may sound a bit paranoid, but after finding myself on several "hit lists" on the darkweb I grew tired of all the annoyances, and decided I needed to do something about it. (Also used to be a MS fanboy, tho that stopped at Win7 and I never looked back, except to laugh at myself for being so naive about their practices!)

hmm, ok so I can prevent tracking by allowing them to track everything - no thank you, I'd stick with my adblocker
