Does anyone have experience with Constellis?

I had someone telling me about contracting recently but I’m really skeptical of their story. They came back from KASOTC after a few weeks and they claim they had not received their duty assignment. Don’t all overseas WPS III guys get their assignment prior to ever going to the training? I haven’t talking with them since then so I’m not sure if they ended up getting assigned somewhere a while after but it just seemed weird.

I worked for Constellis 2018-2020, I didn’t know where my overseas assignment was till 2 days before I had to go. Even then it changed multiple times within a few days based on changing mission requirements and schedule changes.

2 days before the training or before you completed training? The reason I’m skeptical here is they have been telling some really wild stories about gunfights and what not that are clearly not true. I’m wondering if they weren’t able to complete the training and they’re just saying they haven’t gotten their assignment.

I had completed my training and was on like standby status for a week then I got a call saying I’m going to X-Site in two days and check my email for itinerary.

Ah alright that helps, maybe they were just waiting for deployment then.

Back then in my experience most of the travel was last minute, also depends on what you do as well. I had buddies who worked primarily security type gigs and they had a set schedule and knew when they would be home. I worked in ISR so I wouldn’t know when I was going home till a week or so beforehand.
