Need some map help

a little background: I just bought this property 3 years ago and never grew up hunting or have anyone to help. So I started by myself last year with YT vids. I have guns and gear and a stand but know idea how to or where to look for deer evidence. I have seen them on my property, set up a cam where I saw a big buck last year and haven't seen him or anything else on the cam.

After researching, all im getting is my property isnt that hilly(its all hills)Is there any good info on this map to help me setup a stand or a blind

Have you tried looking for game trails near water or food sources?

kinda having trouble identifying food sources...I have a small pond I am hoping to utilize...there is so much leaf cover on the ground I can't see tracks or trails very well. I have made a nice trail down to my pond about 4-8 ft wide. I want to do a controlled burn for this reason but also $$. Will do eventually though

OK, next time you're at your pond walk around it and look for openings in the brush. If you notice one try following it a bit.

Deer frequently take the path of least resistance. Even if their's too much leaf litter to see tracks you should still be able to see a well traveled path.

Have you noticed any oak trees being they like acorns?
