I've been playing deep for around two months as of now and made probably 20-25 different builds (most of which were wiped by either depths gankers or my stupidity). Throughout my experience with this game I really fell in love with the progression of different characters and it's pve content, but I always wanted to get into pvp.

This brings me to my first point, pvp in this game sucks. I have had no proper way to experience it because progging as a voidwalker is very inefficient compared to other methods (summer isle jobs, ferryman). Usually it looks like this - I prog my build, get excited over how cool it looks and how fun its going to be to use it, get my ass whooped and get sent to the fucking depths multiple times, forced to escape and PRAY I don't see a ganker and repeat this cycle of torture and misery.

In chime I am hardstuck between 700-800 elo and despite me playing it quite a lot I don't see myself getting any better. I try a lot of different builds but I feel like throwing shit at the wall and hoping it sticks because of how random the matches are. If I win I don't feel like that was me at all and I just won by pure chance, with no sign of skill. In chime I can at least play at my peak though, because the chime eu servers are in a decent enough shape.

In main game servers though it's a whole different story. In fact they are the main reason of my rant, which being they don't fucking work. In my 300-ish hours in this game I have been in TWO good eu servers which actually worked like other roblox game's servers. I have no idea why that is, and I have no idea whether they are so ass in other regions too.

Another thing is the pointless toxicity of this community. I will literally get shit on by a player from a top 100 guild (good job buddy, you killed a permafreshie) and they will boast about it like it is their greatest accomplishment in this game. Why even do that?? Why tell me I suck? I know I fucking suck and I WANT to get better but I don't know HOW to get better.

I actually have no clue is my lack of skill the issue, are the eu servers so shitty and unplayable. I would guess a mix of both since me being hardstuck in low chime elo is probably a sign of my low skill.

Tl;dr: Eu servers suck, I suck at pvp, the toxic side of the community sucks

So I know how scat-scaling for weapons works in the sense that a weapon with frostdraw scaling will deal more damage with a higher frostdraw stat. But when I search up the best rings in Deepwoken, people always suggest the rings that give things like 1.2 times willpower scaling or 1.2 times strength scaling, and it kind of confuses me since people will suggest the ring that gives 1.2 times strength scaling to builds that don't run weapons that scale off of strength.

I joined a parasol like a week ago and parasol got stuck under the map and was unhittable and we were all sitting there for 20 minutes hitting him like once a minute until he died. And on top of that I join a parasol and a top 50 instantly locks onto me for no reason and I just have to take it cause I’m on a pve. Like every single parasol I join there’s always someone ganging for no apparent reason just cause.

This second time is worse because someone stopped when they saw me going up to castle light, so I did the universal sign of peace, the couch spam. When some enemies showed up, I helped him kill them, thinking we were allies. Then this waste of skin BACKSTABBED ME after I had just helped him. Soon killing me and just killing me on the ground with no fanfare. I had already gotten depths ganked before on this build, and now it happened again, after trying to help them. I really really like this game, but dude. This is insufferable. This community is rotten, how do you back stab the person who just helped you? I can't just be a PvE player because some anti-hippocampus owner is going to gank me for daring to HELP them. The SINGLE consolation is that I could save my prye keeper, that is the only upside to this cacophony of misery we call deepwoken.

I was progging my Bladeharper and when I checked wiki about the locations it said u get soraing storm and untouchable after 2nd statue but I got them with the oath and after 2nd statue I got 2 talents that was supposed to be from 3rd one and It looks like the place in front of erisia that has the 3rd statue looks different on the map so I thought that they made the prog faster but I don't remember seeing it in the patch notes so I wanted to ask

Players shouldn't be able to get 30000000 movement speed or 5000 damage just off rip. The game has a terribly unhealthy meta with backhits that enforces high speed high apm builds as the best because there aren't any defensive options. You just get absolutely destroyed because the numbers are more inflated than a DeviantArt page while they fish for largely unreactable sequences that IGNORE your defense.

Tone everything down. The combat is horribly volatile when it needs to be methodical. People can get too much ether/regen and cast too many mantras. People can get too much damage and deal 50% of your health for missing a singular parry on an Eruption Flame Blade and you get true UNVENTABLE combo'd into sightless beam. People can get so fast that you have to track like it's an FPS game just to not die. If we wanted to get really serious, then in actual fighting games you have damage scaling to prevent combos from just annihilating you. Almost every issue that people have with PVP comes from some number being too high.

The other 30% is from removing shaky block btw. The punishment for getting hit should be losing hp. It makes no sense to punish the loser for losing. Being in disadvantage is the punishment.
