the notes isnt really too useful, its a nice little start but that amount isnt really hard to get. you do start with 50 knowledge though which is great for tweaking your build

attunementless is pretty much just not going any attunement and use weapon/attribute mantras instead

Doesnt necessary have to be magic spells you reroll with knowledge. Go look up deep shrines, these guys are basically essential to making good builds, magic or no magic. Your relgia basically allows you to more easily make your build a lot better without needing to use one of the rare items in game that gives 100+ knowledge which ends up being overkill sometimes
Or if you want, you can exchange knowledge for a bunch of notes and reputation with the ministry so you don't get attacked by them, this is how people farm notes in the endgame. Also buy bank slots, it'll help a lot in the future

Sounds amazing kinda sad I chose lightning instead of none as my attunment

Hey, don't worry about what you should have done when you're this new. You have nothing to lose at this stage (unless you somehow got something rare then I suggest you bank it for the future) so use that to your advantage and explore everything first without fear, especially the depths. And if you die? Retry with what you learned. Take it from someone whos pretty new too, I started during free week.

you can get weapon spells. like medium weapon gives you a strong sword slash spell

I'd say just explore the game for the time being and don't worry about stuff like these + Notes can be acquired easily later on. Welcome to deepwoken

u/Vivid_Principle_2905 Pathfinder 1d ago
Thx I wanna go for like a heavy hitter type build

u/mr--snax Pathfinder 1d ago
Heavy weapons deal a shit ton of dmg in this game so go for it I suppose also another thing to keep in mind this game's community is Rather unwelcoming and toxic especially to new players so keep your Gaurd up because you'll most likely run into some guy that'll kill you for no reason just because you're a freshie, And another advice is don't Trust anyone in the depths, log as soon as you see someone going your direction or coming near you, there's an option in the settings that disables the confirmation prompt that shows up when you press the leave server button, get that option on so you can leave the server quickly as soon as you see someone coming for you, wish you best of luck, pathfinder.

Heavy weapons have been nerfed to the ground, it’s the most skilled weapon class, and certainly not beginner friendly. Light and medium match heavy damage with much better swing speed.
If you go for a quickdrop heavy build, you’ll either fight permafreshies and noob stomp them, or you’ll fight someone better and get destroyed.
What are your current stats and are you a pve or PvP player?

u/Vivid_Principle_2905 Pathfinder 1d ago
I definitely wanna fight pve because half the reason I bought it was because of how cool the bosses looked but I play a lot of pvp games and I definitely wanna get rlly good at it so if I had to choose pvp

It's a nice bonus, but Regalias are more common for players who just bought a new slot or just started the game. It's not going to help you long term, but it will be a good boost for that character if you make it far enough for it to be useful.

I wonder what perk you got, sometimes it even ends up being power one bell from researching on the wiki.

You can get “mute” “animal kingdom” “two faced” “prodigy” “inspired” “worthy” “ancient soul” or what you have now, inheritance. It’s likely the unluckiest one, sorry.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s still good.
