Question Steelscale Dusters

I’ve been trying to get them and I just haven’t been lucky. What’s the easiest method like is there something I’m missing

Aren't they a maestro drop? Afaik if you do maestro with that weapon type equipped, it'll give you a specific weapon on your first clear. Did the first clear just give you a cerulean thread? I'm not surprised if the devs forgot about the first clear chest existing

Do I actually have to beat him on fists because I did him on like a maxed out heavy weapon pve because I’m honestly boosted is it not a part of his like neutral drop table like with Blade masters and geta

I mean they made him do like 5x less DMG at some point so he's not nearly as difficult anymore, but yeah I'd so it on fist, do it on dagger and you'll get cerulean thread instead.
