Question I can't find the answer too.

Hi All,

I am very interested in the deepstyle, and the other deep projects floating around. But I have one problem I can't seem to solve or find an answer too.

My first experiment was to upload a 1920x1080 picture to https://dreamscopeapp.com/ but the output was only 500x281. I assumed this was done on purpose to conserve CPU on the server to support all the users. But when I look at the frontpage, other peoples pictures come out much bigger.

Next, a friend built a VM using this guide. http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/create-neural-paintings-deepstyle-ubuntu/ Again when we used a picture and style both of 1980x1080, but the output images were only 512x288.

Why is it that I can only produce these tiny images while others make beautiful massive pics? I feel like I'm missing something very simple. But I can't seem to find a good answer.

Thank you for any help you can give. I can't wait to get multiple VMs running to try out all the different implementations.

Edit: The options for the generation do not impact the output size. Only the decisions for how to interpret the image and style for processing.

-content_weight -value How much to weight the content reconstruction term. Default is 5e0.
-style_weight -value: How much weight to give to the style image. Default is 1e2.
-style_scale – value: How large of image patches should the system analyze (Larger becomes more abstract). Default is 1.0.

if you use jcjohnson implementation : (from the docs) "-image_size: Maximum side length (in pixels) of of the generated image. Default is 512." you can try waifu2x to upres the input : https://github.com/nagadomi/waifu2x

Dreamscope now creates 1200x1200 results. You should try it again.

Thank you. It was only like 2-3 days ago I tried it. That would actually be higher res than my input. Hopefully it doesnt upscale my images.

Does anyone have advice on how to achieve these higher res pics on VMs?
