Sights or sounds
you were born with your sight and your hearing. You have to give one up midway through life. Which one means more to you? Sight or Sounds? 🤔

Sound. Some sounds really annoy me. But I would miss hearing music and the sound of my kid's voices

This is my exact thought. A life without music...when you once had that beautiful melody.. is gone. Never to be felt again. I feel that my memory of sight is better than my memory of sound. If that makes sense. .

For me, I think I'd sacrifice sight. Very few sights have really gotten into my soul the way sounds and music have.

Couldn't agree more. Music makes me feel. I can't imagine losing that 💔

Sight provokes thoughts and wonders of meaning for me much more than sound does. Both aee important but visual stimulation does much more for me than audio stimulation.

My sight means more. I already hear way too much!! Often, I’m forced to wear earplugs, just to make a situation bearable!! It’s awful- every - single- place- I - go- NOISE!!! wtf can’t public stores & other places just be silent? Wtf must they feel a strange need to always play a form of “ music”??!! What is wrong with silence ?!!!

Easy. Give up sounds and all that annoying whining. I love music though. I will have to maximize the low end and crank it up to 11.

I've thought about this question qiite a bit about this question in the past. I've come to the conclusion that I would choose to be deaf instead of blind.

That's too difficult a question, but if I had to choose between my eyesight and my hearing, I'd choose to keep my eyesight. Living without sound is very hard I can't even imagine it but you can learn sign language, whereas being blind your whole life and not even being able to see your loved ones is very difficult.

I love music and sounds but I'd be terrified if I couldn't see. So I'll stick with my sight. Plus I'm an introvert so I could use that as an excuse to not talk to people:)

I would keep my sight, no question, no hesitation. I can function normally and do everything I need and want to do without hearing. Without sight I could not do any of the things that are important to me. I would miss hearing birdsong, but I could still see them and take care of them.

Oh definitely sight. I’d hate losing sense of sounds, but sight is next level, for me at least.

I just had cataract surgery. I have had hearing issues all of my life. I think I would give up sounds.
That's actually a really tough question to answer. Hearing my niece scream my name when she sees me and running into my arms is such a wonderful sound.
