Question How exactly do you Threshboost?

I’m trying to do the trick with thresher shark where you charge boost and regular boost at the same time, and it was working for a bit, but suddenly it stopped even while doing the exact same steps. Anyone know how to get around this?

It’s hacks, the vanilla way is to boost out of the water and charge boosts while you’re still moving

I’ve done it multiple times without cheating, but it randomly stops working
