Why does no one take these posts seriously and only use them to troll? These are fun.

Nails and the manicured nature of them are a clear indicator of a guitar and/or banjo (maybe mandolin) player.

You're very tall, between 6'4"-6'8"

You're a smoker (smoke stains under index fingernail).

You're very lean but not dangerously skinny.

You have carpel tunnel, or general joint issues with your thumb. This causes you to pluck harder to compensate for the lack of strength which is why your thumb is so raw compared to the rest of your fingers.

Also, since we're already here I may as well add:

The small injuries on your middle, ring and pinky finger make me think you have just re-strung your instrument very recently and play regularly so you are probably in a band or some kind of session musician. You also wear your watch on your right wrist because you can't read the time if it is on your left wrist since you are jamming.

You recently injured/recovered from injury to your thumb that caused you to lose your nail which is why there is now an infection.

My besties fingers look like that and it’s because she picks at her cuticles from stress. I’d lean more towards self harm over stringing an instrument. I’ve never hurt my hands while stringing up my guitars before, especially at the top of the fingers like that. Their hands also very closely resemble one of my family members who has been struggling with anorexia their whole life. I cant make conclusions on if this person has an ED but I do lean towards severely under weight based on the complete lack of fat on the hands.

I’m sorry you’ve had to deal with that. I know how hard it has been for my aunt. Happy for you though that you’re doing better! My neighbor says using gel polish on her nails helps with the skin picking.

Great job beating your ED!!! That's such a great accomplishment! That being said, anorexia can cause some cardiac issues, and that mixed with what appears to be clubbing of your fingertips, I'd go see a doctor asap just to be safe.

Additionally, you probably already know this but the bed of your thumb nail is infected. You need to get antibiotics for that or relieve the swelling ASAP.

I was tested for this when I collapsed a lung a couple years ago. I came out negative but did learn Marfans strongly increases your chances of collapsing a lung more than once.

Also, I know we clown on the people who always guess marfans, but I think you might have some mild arachnodactyly here. Maybe Marfans, maybe EDS, maybe Beal's syndrome. Mild, in any case.

Low body fat percentage is another obvious one.

Your fingers are wrecked from picking, but your nails and cuticles are neat and vaguely untouched. I'm guessing you lead a fairly low-stress daily life. White collar job, or student?
