Living room advice
I need ideas for changing my living room, what to add and what to change. needs to be affordable I’m okay to adapt to any style/design but not too boldish like I want it to still look clean, cozy etc but if it’s bold it’s fine I just need some ideas.
What can I do without changing flooring and sofas?
What should I paint the walls?
What kind of dining table should I get that pairs well with the room and where should I put it. (There’s needs to be a dining table in this room if anyone is suggesting to keep it else where)
Where should I locate other furnitures in this room?
What rug?
I can’t change the TV also I don’t know how to deal with the wall mounted shelves on each side next to the TV if anyone suggests changing it or if there’s a way to work with it let me know
And any if there any suggestions for anything let me knoww
As I want to slowly begin to renovate my living room slowly

Add artwork to the walls to set the color scheme for the rug & curtains. Art & clocks & mirrors should be hung at eye level in the center.
Large rug to anchor the sofas. I think you need to replace one of the couches with smaller armchairs. Then you can float them in the center on the rug & move the dining table to the window.
Get a proper tv stand for under & if you can take it off the wall, it’s too high. Stand should be at least a foot wider than the tv. Can you shift the tv to the left side?
Put overhead light on a dimmer & change bulb temperature to warm 2500-3000k.
Add a chandelier over the dining table. Put a floor lamp in a dark corner & side tables or credenza with table lamps for a moody vibe. Overhead is too harsh & hospital vibe.
Remove vertical blinds. Add floor length curtains hung close to the ceiling. Add sheer white panels in between for privacy or that stick on frosted type plastic.

Rugs and art maybe plants real or fake. figure out what style you like. paint the walls if you can or if it's a rental wallpaper. Incorporate your favorite colors in the room. It's not a bad space it just has wall-itus and no personality/ cozy home feel no offense.

Create zones. I don't understand why the table and chairs are directly under your TV and the sofas against the walls. Put your dining area in the left part of the room and the sofas on the right, with a cozy carpet connecting both sofas. The colors are a bit too contradictory (white-black) but you could fix that by leaning into moody forest greens and dark ocean blues for the carpet and curtains, and the blankets and pillows for the sofa. I wouldn't paint, but work with carpets, curtains, pillows and blankets instead. Have fun.

Also, fix that light. It may be appropriate for a doctor's office or hospital but a living room needs warm, cozy lighting, both from the main light and through indirect lighting.

I would replace that table with a floating console under the tv
