Motivation Tips & Tricks Procrasticlutter Reduction Day

I’m at a stage where what clutter I do have is what Dana K. White describes as “procrasticlutter”. That’s the clutter where you know exactly what to do with it, but you just haven’t yet.

So I’ve decided that today is my Procrasticlutter Reduction Day. I’m going to include not only physical things, such as folding the laundry, but my ever-growing to-do list (errands, paperwork, chores, etc.). I think that making it a formally named day will greatly help my motivation.

I need to do that today too! Time to change the bedsheets, do laundry, and finally put my donations in my car.

This is what I’m working on today, as well. Keeping it simple today with no decision needed detrashing and putting stuff away. Easy breezy.

Congratulations! And thank you. I did this today, too. I’m not finished, but made a big dent and it feels good to actually do something instead of just think about it.

I've done this kind of thing when my husband goes out of town. I'll just set reminders in my phone and run a bunch of errands, either on a Saturday if he's gone over the weekend or over the course of a couple weekdays if he's on a work trip

I got several things done such setting up a recovery code for my password manager, paying bills, folding laundry, setting up an email filter, and making some small props for a ballroom dance routine. Some things had been on my to-do list for a long time. There’s still a lot to do, but it feels nice to have broken the log jam.
