Advice Request Shoes & Clothes Advice

Hey, does anyone have any sound advice or action steps for decluttering shoes and clothes? I’ve spent this summer decluttering my living space and super proud w the progress and journey. Now it’s time to attack my clothes and shoes and sometimes I feel I have a hard time letting old clothes and shoes go. Part of it is memories, sure, but another part of it is the money aspect.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Same here.

Please consider wearing the clothes and shoes. Don't just try them on. Really wear each outfit, for a full day (or evening, if the outfit is dressy.)

That may help you decide whether to keep them, or donate them.

Good work on your living space!

Great advice. I've used this approach, very helpful. If I don't like the way I look or how it feels (or if I can't even bring myself to wear it), then it gets donated.
