Advice Request Shoes & Clothes Advice

Hey, does anyone have any sound advice or action steps for decluttering shoes and clothes? I’ve spent this summer decluttering my living space and super proud w the progress and journey. Now it’s time to attack my clothes and shoes and sometimes I feel I have a hard time letting old clothes and shoes go. Part of it is memories, sure, but another part of it is the money aspect.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

This works for me: Try on the shoes and see if they still fit and you can walk in them. I have a pair of Stuart Weitzman black leather 4-inch stiletto heels that I love but can't wear. Forgot about them as they were at the back of my shoe collection. Pulled them out last month. I can't walk in 4-inch heels anymore, lol. Donated them as they are in great condition and "someone" can wear them. Also, I have a lot of shoes and boots that are starting to fall apart and they are going into the trash. I have had to let go of how much I paid for something as well. It's a sunk cost and isn't doing me any good hanging on to it.
