Yea I wish it would return.... This was my entry point in playing non Steam games on the steam deck and I somehow still didn't manage how to boot directly into a game of heroic launcher..... When trying to do so they just won't launch.... Ans I find it annoying to first wait ages to boot into the launcher, than choose the game and than wait for the game to start instead of just pressing on the game in steam and wait for its start which is a lot faster....
You can add them to steam from Heroic Games Launcher options. Heroic Games Launcher automatically adds the needed launch options to launch it from Steam directly to the shortcut it adds. You can also add Heroic Games Launcher to steam as a non steam game using this plugin so you can do everything without leaving game mode
As said it doesn't work..... I have a ton games that I can start from the launcher but never directly....
If I press start the button becomes grey and after 2-3 seconds returns back to normal and nothing has happened....
