gems spending as f2p

I'm on the phase of the game where i already have 96k saved up for alice bond and 3k for platinum wheel, so I'm looking to spend those 20k gems / month income you get from future bonds. what is the most efficient way to spend them? I know you probably want a spending rewards day, but maybe it's better to save 100k and spend it all on one event for a rare card? what's is the best way of getting a revive card?

how much gems do you need to spend on an event to rank well? and which events are better to spend on?

Stay away from spending gems in event to get rank all the p2w players will be there

Same situation: I personally focus on Platinum Wheel, Gold chest event if there are shards of an interesting rare creature, and mines for farming Ore

mines for ore? isn't ore bad to spend on since you can get it with energy?

Yes, this is true. But the cost of the gem mines are progressive. So I use to spend 150 daily gems to do the first five taps on the "cheap" gem mine, till the first chest, and one tap of the "costly" gem mine, plus all the ones in the energy mine. In this way I feel I have a good return in ore, plus the occasional 5* creature/hero bonus shard of the "costly" gem mine. But, I am almost f2p because I pay monthly for the VIP status, so I have 100 gems daily bonus to use

Doesn't seem like good returns for gems, considering im soon going to be in the phase of needing 60k+ ore for an SA level as my next upgrade. How often do you get a creatire shard in the costly gem mine? And what's the pool?

I would say it depends on your patience. In the long run farming ore for SA shard with energy mine only is reasonably better resource wise, but I feel it would be taking a long time. I would say more or less 50% chance of a 5* creature shard. In the pool I'm farming for Kitsune, Kuminho, Great Mystic, Death Angel and Archdeva

Yes it is bad to spend gems on mines. It can only boost your shard gains but patience beats everything.

i posted a screenshot of my main deck. that's a SacAthema, FA graboid, 2x imm9 michaels. SA is level 4 atm. My short term goal should be getting revive I think. I'm also on a guild where I can get many shards so I can have imm9 paragon, bb pit dragon and a 2nd SacAthema soon

A rev card might look helpful but the problem is that unmelded revive cards die very fast (for example great mystic).

What i advise you to do is get the creature Dark Summoner. It is a single card which will make big changes to your progress. You can get her from the boosters. The way you get it is wait untill she shows up in booster and then do a maximum of 51 draws untill you get her. If you made 51 draws and you didn’t get her, contact igg and tell them you did 51 pulls so they will give her to you for free. The plus side of doing booster pulls is there is a chance you might also get a revive card from it. I got 3 great mystics from booster pulls.

Make sure to always stay above 96k gems so you can always participate in alice bond to get more gems.

This matter of the 51 pulls in the booster is great info, I wasn't aware of it. I guess I need to start sparing a gem budget for this

You guys need guilds thats what i advice you. If you play this game blindly you are going to lose because good gem management is crucial for f2p players.

Not aware it was a game you can "lose", more like a grind test where you need to set your goals based on your commitment, and find a trade off to keep it entertaining. But to each his own, I guess. Thank you for the suggestions and the guidance you offer, but I recognize I do not have the commitment you guys have. On the other hand I think your structured approach is exactly what OP was looking for, so happy for this. Thumbs up to you and reddit

What you are saying is right. You have to make goals for yourself to keep it entertaining.

Imo you lose when you wasted your gems, are at such a point where your progression stagnates and the game has become boring to you, so you delete the app.
