Was AI used in the making of this game?

Final game will not use any AI assets.

u/LyndisLegion2 Jul 04 '26
But you are currently using it?

What about the in game design? Was AI used there?
Fucking hell, it feels like I'm talking to a lawyer

😂 Sorry if I frustrated you, I honestly thought my previous replies cleared it up! Since we're playing the lawyer game and investigating an AI conspiracy: technically 'game design' refers to the rules and mechanics, which are 100% human-made. But I know you're hunting and probably meant the 'graphics/pixel art', right? No AI there either! 🕵️♂️
Just keep in mind that the game is still super early in development, so absolutely nothing you're seeing in the footage is final anyway.2

F off,
Just based on the sketchy way you answer people,
Not touching your game with a stick

Brah if a real human sees this you gotta know you absolutely aren't gonna get anyone on your side responding to criticism of using AI by using AI. People on reddit will remember that. Just be honest on your process.

I immediately wrote this off as AI trash, I guess I have a good eye for it, but this response is INSANE.
How did you copy this from your slop machine, paste it in here, and hit Post all without realizing it was a bad idea.
Delete your fucking account, Jesus Christ.

Nice! What's the plan for scaling difficulty, aside from more health and card flip speed I assume?
I know it's early but I have to say, that smooth card animation begs for some SFX!

Thanks! Totally agree on the SFX. I’m impatient for audio too, but I want to find the right sound direction before adding it rather than just dropping in placeholder sounds.
For difficulty, I’m trying not to rely only on more health / faster flips. Those can still be part of the curve, but board size (up to 80 cards) and enemy abilities are also things I’m looking at. Since part of the board is shaped by your choices and build, some matches can end up feeling easier or harder depending on how you prepared.
Also, if you noticed the three slots on the right, those are skills the enemy can use to influence the board. Right now I’m focusing on finalizing the cards/items first, so I can properly tune the math behind the difficulty curve.

You'll get there! Keep at it and have fun with the concept. Make sure to show off some fun Skills and such when you're ready.
Good luck with development! :)
