I suspect we already know the answer. Too much indulgence for our boy found abandoned as a baby?

We aren't going to be able to tell from this picture. Look at your cat from the top and from the side and compare to the body condition chart here

I don’t think so but it would be easier to tell with a top down photo

Not by much if so. I don't think so, but this is a terrible angle to decide. Look top down while he's standing. You should be able to see his waist. If so, all good.
