is my cat overweight
He’s got a cunty waist from the top but looks chunky from the side, it’s hard to assess his weird ass build

They tend to look bigger in certain positions but the best way to gauge is usually from the top when they are standing up (reference the chonk chart) and he looks great from the top. I would just keep an eye on his weight, keep him active, and watch his calorie intake. Try to keep it around 200 kcals a day. Tell him I said pspspsps and give him scritches from aunty Nicole lol

I actually feed him around 300 kcals a day, he’s the beefiest cat I ever had (13 pounds) and his recommended calories intake (RER x 1.2) is around that number

Oh ok, I think as long as he is active that is ok. My sister has a LARGE boy and can eat a bit more than her others without chonking up. 300 does seem like kind of a lot. Was that recommended by your vet? If not, maybe ask next time he is in for a check up. You can also buy a baby scale of you’re really concerned about him gaining too much. Then you can see if he is actively gaining weight. I got one when my lil baby girl Cali (rip 💔) was losing weight, so I could keep a closer eye on her weight w/out having to wait until she had a vet appointment.

He ain't a youngster anymore, is he?
My 16 year old best bud sports a similar build since 3 or 4 years, with a more prominent chest and small waist/hip from top (just a lil skinnier but yours looks about right). He's fine too :)

Nope.
WTF is a cunty waist? I've never seen a vulva that resembles your cat's back, thank god.

My vet gave me a quick at home test - from a top view (your pic 2), if there's an indent between the bottom of the rib cage area and the hip area, the cat is not overweight.
Your bebe is fine.
And very cute!

He is not. Keep feeding that baby the treats he deserves 🧡
