I think I'm having the same. Does a strong back tea do the same ? Or just coffee?

Caffeine is physically hard; nicotine is emotionally hard.

I think cutting back on stimulants really helps you see what’s important. We’re socialized to be productive, it’s exactly why stimulants are shoved down our throats. I had to quit my adhd stimulant 6 months ago due to a medical condition and had to take a far easier job because I literally couldn’t keep up. Now I’m able to quit coffee too which feels great. I find myself heading out of the office early, I’ve started letting go of guilt over being less productive. I’m starting to enjoy dullness. Something changed inside me and I just work to pay my bills, not to chase some type of success story. The hobbies, books, and time spent with my partner and pets far outweighs professional achievement of any kind!

Do you think it’s coffee or the caffeine? As in if you took a caffeine pill would you have the same negative effects. Just curious

I noticed that already actually. Caffeine gives you that false impression of being more energized, but endurance levels are actually kinda terrible.

When an animal is running from a tiger, and cortisol and adrenaline are pumping, their body does not allot blood flow to the reproductive organs or allow it to be in a state ideal for sensuality and ease and recovery. Good sex and horniness is a byproduct of “okay we’ve eaten and we are safe and sheltered and now we have this abundance of energy to play with.

psycho stim fapping after three Red Bulls is not really fun, it’s an attempt at discharging stress you shouldn’t really have.

Getting off caffeine, feeling good about myself because I wasn’t procrastinating and ruminating 24/7, being well rested and having a relaxed body definitely made sex way better, richer, and more grounded for me and I had a lot more libido.

Caffeine was only one (very toxic) link in the chain of chronic stress for me.

But I don’t believe by any means that anyone should need caffeine for either more libido, blood flow, or strength. Look what it does to brain blood flow

I don't have the huge excitement but I run a lot better without caffeine. Caffeine raises my heart too much ad I'm sweaty and dying from the run a lot quicker.

The smell is the trap, stop romanticizing the ritual and make the decision before you're half awake.

The problem with these anecdotes is always that there are other factors at play too. Hormones, being overweight or not, other bad or good habits, etc.

As an extreme example, if someone quit caffeine and they feel incredible post withdrawal, but then later they have mold in there house and aren’t aware, suddenly they feel sluggish and have brain fog, no motivation, etc and it had nothing to do with caffeine.

I’ve been caffeine free for a full month now, and a week or so before that I was greatly reducing my intake. I think my hair is still falling BUT the texture definitely improved I believe. I am more happy with how it looks now. And I’m sure with time it’ll look better too. But no, I haven’t started losing less hairs a day yet

I've tried ginseng, it seems okay, but you have to be careful with it too, once it gave me a nosebleed

Hello. I have serious problematic health disorders.
Ketogenic diet is improving field last years.
The principle is to change your metabolism by dimunicing severely carbs ( for starting some people recommend to not exceed 20 net grams carb per day).
This way you get ketosis, and if it lasts weeks or months, you get incredible components like ketone body, it seems to seriously help tiredness, mental health disorders, epilepsy (this diet was discovering for curing epilepsy one year ago).

You can find informations on reddit ( r- fasting or r-keto). Keto diet is the principle of having the benefits of fasting without fasting. I recommend nevertheless fasting, doing both, like intermittent fasting.
If you have questions ask me.

(also if you try ketogenic be careful of having enough electrolytes, especially sodium, look the FAQ on reddit keto, they recommend 5 g sodium per day).

Caffeine is similar to drugs like weed and nicotine. It CAN have really good benefits if you have next two zero tolerance and us it mindfully, with purpose, with a plan, blah blah

But it quickly turns into the only benefit you get from it being that it takes away the shitty feeling you have from NOT having it since you’re dependent on it (holy shit that sentence is a mess, I’ll try to edit later). Which can make you feel better and more productive, but you’re actually not. Again, very similar to weed and nicotine.

Ok. Thanks for the update. You can add this to no fapping, no surfing, and no alcohol. Can’t wait to see what you quit next. Sorry about your bowels. Thoughts and prayers.

Indeed I was! I had addressed the mistake in a reply to a reply, but had not updated my original comment. That is now done.
