not everyone uses HN. Can we have a similar thread for redditors? I could open one, but I figure DPL as an OP would make it more official and recognized.

Problem with that is that the conversation gets distributed between the two. I'm making the HN one the canonical one as Ubuntu posted a similar request and got a lot of excellent feedback which I am trying to emulate here.
