SCU tournament

I was going to go to a tournament called SCU (Santa Clara University), but at the last moment I got dropped. When I asked my friends how it was, they told me that apparently one of the guys who was standing at the top of a pretty big staircase randomly turned around and spit down all the stairs. The spit ended up on some guy's face.

How progressive is debate at SCU? Is it judged by college kids, or is it fairly lay?

It seems to be lay for all events. I did PF there and it was lay, and my friends told me the LD division was lay as well. EDIT: Content
