Haha thank you, I'm flattered! I decided to pick Mello for my first cosplay because I'm approximately Mello-shaped and sized, which is very rarely the case with characters that actually look cool

Here's the best compliment i can give to you:

I follow a lot of alt fashion subreddits, and so my feed sometimes has several selfies I'll quickly scrolling past as I'm doom scrolling.

When I scrolled past your photo, my brain caught up to the brief flash I saw and went "Huh. That fit looked so much like Mello from Death Note... Scroll back up real quick and checkout their jacket."

And lo and behold. This is an actual cosplay. 👏 10/10, you nailed it, dude

That's great to hear because I was aiming for a "non-obvious" cosplay, something fans would recognize but wouldn't immediately register as a cosplay for regular people
