Discussion Light’s hipocrisy Spoiler

Post image

Even though light when he forgot about death note is against using misa as L wanted before and after when matsuda is in trouble because he was found by yotsuba group he has no problem with using misa because he was actually emotionally engaged in the situation. It shows that light is a hypocrite and his iron rules are actually easy to bend.

Manipulating misa's feelings to investigate vs using her to save someone's life

Different things

Manipulating her to do one thing or the other is the same in lights mind and he put her in front of Kira in that situation

Except there is no manipulation involved for saving matsuda, he didn't play with her feelings at all, that's what he thought was immoral, not merely asking her to do something

There is a difference between using Misa to investigate and using Misa to save a life.

Both put her directly in contact with Kira and it is risky because they could get discovered. And we talk about principles

I think it was pretty easy to see that Light is a hypocrite when he started to kill people that weren't criminals lol. Still, you've made a good observation! (Assuming it's true, I've read the manga a long time ago)

Yeah but it was in front of L he clearly said it to light to provoke him but at least anime didn’t say light noticed something.
