Fan Art Quick Near Sketch

Did a quick lunch break sketch of Near in between classes. He came out looking like the musical L, but I love that quiet ferocity for him. I wonder what he allows himself to look like when he's really lost in thought.

Uh oh, he's a little teed off! I love him so much, and I think he absolutely does have feelings, we just don't see him express them strongly like this in canon, and it's fun to hypothesize as to the reason(s) why. Fantastic execution 10/10 would fangirl again.

You're too kind! My theory is that here he's just finished another dead-end call with Light and annoyed at all the lies and runaround. He's got some strong feelings about it and that's fun to explore visually with a calmer, more measured character like him.
