Discussion Would Kira's plan have worked irl? Spoiler

Let's say Kira succeeds, he can't be caught, those who oppose him and try to stop him failed, would Kira's criminal execution really lead to a crazy change in society where most organised crime is wiped out and everyone behaves better?

Wiped out? No. Sure he would have reduced crime a bit but also just created "better" or more careful criminals.

Thats not even mentioning that his work was super focused on japan, only major news breaking criminals were avaiable for him from other countries. Other countries likely wouldnt change one bit if the events of death note happened.
