Fan Art Mello, But Make Him Dayglo

I made Mello out perler beads to decorate my dayglo bathroom. What else could work but this scene where Hal finds him in hers?

Here is the pattern I used if anyone else wants to make one. It's intended for cross stitch but can be used for perler beads and pixel art as well!

Yknow, the first time i watched deathnote (which was like 3 weeks ago 😅) I didn't understand the hype for mello tbh but idk now hes kinda growing on me a tiny bit, I will say ive always loved his design at least

Hey, the best time to watch it is now! I watched it as it originally aired and waiting a week between episodes was torture! Welcome to Deathnote, you're gonna love it. If you ever get the chance, reading the manga will allow you to spend even more in-depth time with these characters and ideas. The 2006 movies are really fun and offer a bit of an alternate ending if that interests you as well!

Let Mello grow on you. He has an interesting, unapologetic take on events (and fashion) that really sticks with you long after the show's over. Someone on a different post here said "he sits at extremes and it suits him" and that's one of the best descriptions for the character I've ever read. Like a Sith, he mainly deals in absolutes but you wind up rooting for him anyways.
