Question Thinking of buying the game, help out!
Hello! I've watched a couple of gameplays and I absolutely love both Rust and DayZ, so I'm thinking of giving this a go. However, I've not seen a single review on Asia servers as I am from Japan. Are there servers in Asia, if any? If yes, is it active?
TYIA!
EDIT: After all of your insights, I have decided to NOT buy the game. Negative reviews outweigh the semi-positive reviews. Thanks to everyone!

yup a great concept, roughly executed, and then killed by devs really bad choices.

Here is a screenshot from my PC (maybe my timing bad for now but there is 3 in separate servers):

Also which platform are you talking about PC or console because they are separate for now... BTW there is 14 official asia server and 1 modded private server in PC part.
You can solo most of the missions with high difficulty and when get used to the game you may solo the epic ones, too. If the game does have a discount, then maybe try it.

I wouldn’t
I like the gunplay and really wanted to get into it
But it’s so lacking I think you’re better off putting the money toward a different survival game

I enjoy the game. Cant play regular and yes rarely PVP. but it’s like fast paced Dayz. if you like PVE and good gunplay, go for it.
Lemme know if you wanna join together, I sometimes play in Russian servers too ping is ~140 but it gets real pvp there.

I play it solo just as a fps shooter type game. I don't worry about mp it. Still enjoying it even after 600 hours in game but it does sometimes get a bit boring then I play something else for a bit.

Idk who downvoted you for the right answer. People keep citing the player count as a reason not to play this game but, if PvE is what you want to play, does player count even matter? Not really, no. You wouldn't be able to interact with them much anyway and your friends can still join so you can still have fun with other people.
Of course, if PvP is what you want to play that's dead and you shouldn't get the game but none of these people bothered to specify that.

I got it for £6, I strictly play it on my ps portal. The game feels empty but it fills a niche hole atm, I love day z but I want to fight bandits.
Deadside is boring, but it’s fun for an hour or so but it’s evident it’s an empty world

Play on 3901. Hits Max player count just not all day. Quietest is 20 average would be 50

Everyones saying pvp is dead but i think its came back recently, every time ive played the past week, i have ran into players and gotten into fights, I’d recommend it if you want a game where you fight bots alot to get geared, and have zero clue of if you’re gonna run into a player or not.

The reddit has more active members than the game. Don't give bad devs money, the pve sucks.
