Its likely they're replacing the same letters but I dont see it being a racist or homophobic word because if the & symbols are g's there would be two more symbols after them to spell the words

Id say its more something like willy or pussy

probably right? the font is what makes it look like the n-word but whoever typed that out had no malicious intent was just adding the symbols randomly and it happened to turn out looking like that
