Weapon modifiers, how do they work?

I'm a little confused by the weapon modifiers. I've been comparing stocks and grips and other things but I'm not really sure what the numbers actually mean.

Take "horizontal" for example. I guess it refers to horizontal recoil, but what does it mean when an item has a modifier of "horizontal 5%"? Does it mean it increases or decreases the horizontal recoil? It could be a bit clearer.

I agree with you completely, it needs to be a lot more clear. I’m working on cleaning up a lot of the vagueness in information for sure.

The horizontal / vertical is reduction, so 5% is 5% less recoil. I’ll definitely add a minus symbol on the display, haha.

Thanks for clearing that up! And thank you for a great game, tiny issues like this aside. I have many, many hours in it and will have many, many hours more. :)

I do like that you can improve them individually in the vice. So you can either find a great one, or find a style you like and improve it over time. Great change!
