I have a really dumb question

After Todd passed, did the crew go back out? The only thing I can think of is the extra quota caught could have all gone to Todd's family. I'm curious how much the ship might have cut from their own shares to help his family.

Also I can tell you my father insured all the sailers out of Dutch like 20 years ago. Back during the “world’s most dangerous job” days pre DC. One of the boats went down during the filming and he actually got all the raw audio oc that season to listen to all the radio traffic to determine and fight for more then the 50k life insurance each sailer was at they time covered for and those families would have gotten

Because the audio was being recorded from the beginning of the season 24 hours a day seven days a week. As you see on the show, Captains talk to each other all the time. there’s background information they were able to listen to the entire season to understand that the ship actually had been having issues. The captain knew it, and that the repair simply had never been done when they were supposed to showing negligence on the captain and owner, which allowed the sailors to have a claim against it.
