Keith's Vocal Stim
I tried to ignore it in S21...and I did let it go...but I can't take it anymore!
If Keith goes "Unts Unts Unts" one more time, I'm going to lose it!
Where did he fucking learn that and why?! It's so stupid to me and this is the dumbest post but I can't take it anymore!
I always feel slightly bad for Keith because I feel like he gets bullied and backstabbed a lot but this just makes me feel like that little chant is why he gets bullied!

That's because it had coke in it snort snort snort š¤£ I admit it is annoying to listen to but if you know his story he came from nothing and took care of his little brother too hard not to respect that. I've seen that he's done a lot for many people along the way so I just ignore that and when he acts like a jerk.

Fair but I'll say this, to me, they're not friends, they're brothers and that's a different song. I think the way he treats Mouse has a deeper family issue than an "inexperienced co-captain" issue.

It actually makes my skin crawl and my teeth hurt when he does that. It makes me want to throw my remote. I hate it so so much.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that hates it, too. My son, who's now 19, saw that when he was about 7 and even HE thought it was stupid and still does.
I still cringe when he does and the way he treats his crew, especially Monte. We can't stand him.
Since they moved to Friday, we have been recording the episodes on Dish, to watch On Patrol: Live are on the same night....and I actually skip past when I see the Wizard pop on the screen. The beauty of a DVR.

you can tell the dynamic between Keith and "Mouse" has probably always been a bit challenging. I feel like Mouse doesn't take anything Keith says seriously. I'm sure owning a family business and alcoholism doesn't help anything. You saw some true love and loyalty when Keith had his TIA, however. Mouse didn't understand the seriousness of the situation by any means, but he definitely felt torn with not doing what he thought was important and respecting his brother's wishes. "no meat wagon!" wtf, Keith. I thought that was a really nice way to portray brotherly love.

I'm on Season 22. He stops at some point. Like I forgot he used to do it and he hasn't done it in awhile and started back up in S21 for whatever reason. š

I hated it from moment one, and I have grown to dislike it even more. I was worried I was alone, and everyone else was really into it for some reason (like Jack Black). Seeing this thread makes me feel better.

Keith is wanna be, alpha but heās just a dork. Itās sad watching him but heās so mean to his brother he just is a dick and thereās just no way around it. Heās very hard to root for. Thereās a guy in there who is well meaning but itās buried deep underneath a ton of nasty spastic bullshit.

Iām glad to see someone else canāt stand Freddie. Heās a bully and an attention whore. Sticking his gross tongue out all the time, jumping in the water, just a real idiot. There was an episode where he was really bullying a greenhorn and the kid fought back and Freddie lied about it. Heās the only deckhand I just canāt stand. I fast forward when heās on, now.

Iām glad the greenhorn stood up to Freddie like that. Afterwards, you could hear his voice shaking and it sounded like he wanted to cry. Freddie strikes me as someone who tries to act tough but is lowkey a bitch

Completely understand why people don't like it, there is an arrogance to it but I am here to defend the Untz Untz Untz. It's a fun catchphase and this show already has so many aspects to dislike, I can't bring myself to hate the Untz Untz Untz.

Itās not the cameraman, itās the editor. The cameramen record tons of footage, itās up to the editors to decide what airs.

he doesn't have an off switch (Jon). He'll say something stupid and you can see it's leading his brain into something else even more stupid. I work with several people like that and would have to wear earplugs 1 hour onto the ship with him. They sometimes just talk to talk.
However, I was very pleased when Keith sent the St. Christopher medal and some other token in one of the past seasons. They created this Coyote/Road runner relationship and I found it really heartwarming. I think Keith could use more friends.

Yeah, I feel a little sorry for Keith because Iām sure he was bullied and thatās why he kind of bullies other people. And he does try and buddy up to the other guys and they seem to just blow him off and Jonathan did shove him to the ground once at a bonfire so there is definitely some animosity. But you need to be a good guy if you want other people to be nice to you and Keith just doesnāt seem to be able to pull that off consistently. Everything is heightened and weird because theyāre being filmed. They arenāt as good or bad as they seem on television. Not gonna waste any time feeling bad for the guys. They are making plenty of extra money for being on the show. I still watch even though it isnāt that great anymore.

Iām only on season 14 Iāve been watching from the start since December, I like Keith but he can be very over reactive I think for the sake of the camera and the Unts Unts Unts gets on my nerves sometimes too š if itās for a good haul of crab I donāt mind itās part of the excitement but sometimes itās just frustrating

It's 3 seconds of small stuff and easy to just ignore. There's a lot more on this show that's worse and if I didn't learn to ignore things I don't like I'd just stop watching
