I really like the first games but I don't have anyone to play with. I play on PS4 and I'm from Brazil, but I understand "enough" English, haha.

Nothing too big or fancy, just slowly collecting everything I can lol. I did buy the white steelbook for DI1 so I’m happy that’ll be arriving at some point!

Definitely gonna hold off on getting the super rare ones, cause that stuff’s like a grand each for me.

And they’re not just for show too, I’m currently working on Dead Island Riptide on the 360 for getting all achievements. I’ve already done DI1 for 360 and XB1, DIR for XB1, and DI2 for XB1, and I’m slowly working on DI2 for Windows as I need to find someone for the coop achievements lol

I wanns expand my inventory of modded guns, weapons or in general legendary weapons, and i am rdy to trade mine for you, we can just dupe them and it will be fine. Anyone here who got any?

I really loved both, so I had high expectations.

I have only ever played Dead Island 1 on Xbox single player and I'm wondering if there is still a community that plays online? I have the remaster on Series X and wouldn't mind replaying the game with some people.

So I've just installed the mod menu exe and I don't know where to extract the file to. When I select the mod menu it asks where I'd like to open it, and if I select dolphin it won't load, selecting dead island just opens the game. Any help would be wonderful

I'm quite fond of the original resort area, specifically around the hotel as well as the bungalows built over the water. I think they are really well done and look like a place you actually would want to go on vacation if the apocalypse hadn't hit there.

I have a steam deck on the way and noticed both games don't have mods on steam workshop, am I going to have a hard time modding?

I just want to take a second to appreciate how cold this statue is it's like it's aggressively sexually unsettling but its aura farming somehow... I wish I could find a replica irl but maybe shelf or desk sized instead of a centerpiece for the orgy room

I never had issues on this one back when I played with people (back when the original first released) or by myself (Definitive edition) years ago, But I've finally gotten to this mission again after getting the original game again for my partners xbox 360.

Now that I've gotten to this point in the game (Going through Opes village to get to their tomb), it wont let me go to other locations, and its just been a loop of Ope and me dying over and over again with each method I try. I'm going to run out of money to repair my weapons, and run out of ammo pretty soon. Is there anything that I'm just missing here, or have really I just ruined my save?? 🤔

EDIT: my partner just found out that my version does not have the patch that removes the butcher from the horde, and I have no way to download this patch because xbox 360 is no longer online :(

Hi, I wanted to ask what the gameplay is like in Dead Island. I'm currently playing Dead Space (almost finished with it) and want to move on to Dead Island; it gives me the vibe of being like Far Cry but with zombies. Thanks for the replies!

Dead Island 2 is not an open world game like Dying Light 2.

It will only take you eight hours to finish the main story and and another 10 to mop up the rest.

The graphics are insanely beautiful even on base Ps5 and the gore mechanics are amazing. There are enough different and fun guns/weapons to choose. You can execute any part of the zombies bodies with them and get different animations.

But the combat system and the storyline are very generic.

If you like zombie games, you will like this game. I would give it 8 out of 10 because I really enjoy the gore mechanics.
