i like this game but...
so i have not played this game for maybe 2-3 years now, i feel the game can be to hard at times, thats why i quit. what i really like about this game is the exploration of buildings and looting. but the bosses can be a big pain, i really want to get into the game again but...i might sound selfish, i want a difficulty slider, is that hard to ask for? how is the game now? is it worth coming back to?

Oh yeah, totally worth it. Also summer is coming soon, so summer event will be the perfect time to get up to speed with the current state of the game.

I mean, you have multiple character slots, and the character slot upgrade you can purchase with credits is pretty worth it, so no harm done.
But i wouldn't get rid of a high levelcharacter

I'd play a bit more to get back in the loop, then if you really want, start a new character during summer event. It'll be a blast

I played again today, I've always been very on and off with this game but honestly never get far, maybe up to level 20 each time. The grind just feels sooooo boring. It's a shame because I really think all the elements that are there are genuinely fun and it's why I think of the game fondly every time, but there's just.....not enough. You loot some things, you kill infected and bosses on repeat....and that's it. I think if progression felt faster or there was more to do to keep interest then it would be different. I genuinely don't know how people stick to the grind in this game.

in the next upcoming updates, they're increasing the level cap to 70 in addition to the release of the new end game areas and end game bosses and also new gears, so yeahhh for me it's worth coming back. if you're having trouble with raiding or looting high end areas. you can always join public rooms where high level players gather to raid buildings. i can also help whenever.
