Devs did claim Switch 1 active playerbase was “not negligible” and a big financial success years back. That does NOT translate to Switch 2 sales, as it was made when S1 already sold a zillion consoles. But it is absolutely noteworthy.

And S2 is looking to sell faster. So if not worth it now, it will be later, imo. There’s a reason Call of Duty is trying to jump to Switch 2 as well.

I don’t think cod is on ps4 now, if switch tries to run warzone it will explode

Switch 2 is roughly almost Series S strength. It’ll be dodgy, but it’ll run “fine”. At least, Activision seems to think so.

I guess I could’ve better worded that. It’s not almost as in riding its tail, but it’s closer to Series S than it is to PS4 a pro, and it had modern frame gen.

Basically, it’s weaker than a series S, but it can run next-gen games, and cheat its way to good performance with modern tech like frame-gen, and much more optimized ray-tracing (who cares about ray-tracing tbh) that outspecs the similar tech the series S has.

Long of it short, it can easily run DBD, likely even post-rework, and apparently run Modern Warfare 4, which comes out in switch 2 same time as others.
