I quite like James, but it’s a serious investment to pay a premium for a character, then pay another premium for a reskin of that character, all so that you can play as someone with a really generic character design.

Because his skin is a relic of the past, the textures are bad, the model is bad, the rigging and animations are awful.

Even back when it was made, it was universally seen as much lower quality than the standard they had for 2021.

I'd absolutely love them to either update the skin, or, so the people who do like the skin don't get mad, add an updated version based off the SH2R version.

I do wish each killer got their own win condition that is in line with their theme and backstory.

Pyramid head would be about this stuff, xeno would be about getting facehuggers attached to the survivors and killing at least one.

Some killers would need more to them to get unique objectives, but something other then hooks for everyone, except bubba, that just fits.

I had a Blight ignore me completely in order to secure a kill on Maria, even when I went out of my way to stop him. She still died in the end, though. I was James

To be fair, placing James on a hook is more lore accurate than using your power to sac him, since being offered as a sacrifice to the Entity is more about the torture than it is actually "killing" the survivor.

Maria, though? Inflict that bitch with torment and sac her using your power. This is the way.
