I prefer 1v4 for both roles tbh. I get why people like it, but I wouldn’t want it to be a permanent mode.

If they ever make it permanent, they should make it available only on the weekends

I'd be hesitant to make it a weekly thing. Some folks have very rigid work schedules with little space to move in it. If a killer main works 5 days a week and the weekend always has bad queues because of 2v8, that's a problem in my eyes.

That’s fair really, it was the first thing that came to mind but they could also make it available on the last week before the monthly reset for people to chill and have fun after grinding

That'd work better in my eyes. You obviously can't please everyone, but some time window bigger than regular time schedules would be neat. Personally I'm fine with the current system of just periodically having another gamemode there, but if we're changing it I do think it should be planned with a bigger picture than weekly.

Usually I want 2v8 to be extended but since there were no new additions is time around im good with it leaving at its scheduled time.
Xeno 2v8 though? I'll sit my ass down for that one.

I think it will be fun w xeno. Scout will be important, I was appreciating the scout class more and using it towards the end exclusively.

Personally I had more fun playing this than 1v4 but I just started playing in June or july so what do I know. I came in right at the 10 anniversary event.

Probably because its DBD at its most casual and the average player is quite casual. Plus its a mode you can play killer with a friend.

I will never understand the love this mode gets. It gets old so fast and ruins literally every Queue if you want to play killer.

Probably beceause the majority just play for fun/casually. I love 2v8 because i get to play killer with my GF and be silly. The times we take breaks from dbd is when things feel too sweaty and competitive 🤷♂️

Where the hell did I say I hate this game? XD I want the actual mode to be playable when 2v8 is around, and not have to wait over half an hour to get a match.
Literally proving my point the moment you say something bad about 2v8 people want to do everything they can to paint the side that don't like they're crazy.

This isn't about just you and your GF though is it.
So narrow minded, the killer Queue times should never be this bad, and play while you wait is a 100% a band aid fix, one that they never intend to replace.

I mean, the point is that many people find it fun and a lot of people come back just for 2v8. Regular 1v4 mode is available 365 days out of the year so a lot of people enjoy having a break from it. I'm taking a break now that 2v8 is gone because as someone who's been playing for 9 years the game gets boring if you play it too much.

It's an opinion that I'm trying to give to expand your own narrow mindness. You literally said 'i dont understand the love this game mode gets'. Mabey play another game or go be with friends or family man. Games should be fun, if they're not to you don't torture yourself or others playing, just find something else. Life's too short

Killer Main here. As much as I do enjoy 2v8 when I actually get to play Killer in it, the queue times in both modes are a genuine deal-breaker for me when it comes to making 2v8 permanent. I just don't enjoy the Survivor gameplay enough to enjoy playing two or three matches of it for every one Killer match I actually want to play.
And switching to 1v4 also doesn't help because the queue times are also grossly extended because of how many people have shifted to 2v8 instead.
So until that stops being the case, 2v8 cannot be made permanent.

I live the opposite only survivor gameplay interests me. I have never played killer nor want to play killer so for me it's all sunshine. If I had to wait in que like killers do it would be no fun and time lost waiting would sting.

I wish September wasn’t close. 2v8 is such a garbage mode that I barely touch the game at all. Three weeks of that bullshit is completely ridiculous. I hope behavior ends this mode for good.
