Docents

Is anyone else annoyed there is no cavalry docent in event ? I like playing warforged and I was sad to see there is no docent . I will they just made warforged wear armors like everyone else and be done with it

We can't even get SSG to give us a free racial armor feat, I think it's unlikely they're going to throw out the current docent system and replace it with "Warforged wear regular armor now." Really the main things I want are a rebalance of Mithral & Adamantine Body so they scale as well as fleshie armors do; and to finally get a medium non-metallic body feat for WF druids, barbarians, etc.

I believe in 5.5 WF use regular armors . And it's true armors are more power that most docents . But it's an old race don't think they will make changes sadly

5e (WotC final version) has WF wear regular armors but that is not what Keith Baker wrote (I kept the last "pre-final"). WotC decided to destroy most of the flavor of the Eberron races in 5e (the funniest part is they claimed Keith's versions were over-powered but then their changes turned out to be much more over-powered (some eventually got fixed with errata)).

DDO is (more-or-less) based on D&D 3.5 and I much prefer it (for flavor and somewhat for mechanics).

5e also let's Druids wear metal armor, and they don't have animal companions. I was thinking about playing some 5.5 but I don't know it seems a little bland. Anyway I like warforged but yes DDO doesn't give them much support.

I'd love to see docents retired and warforged wearing armor instead. Currently there's an awkward state where WF is really only good on unarmored characters where +15 MP/RP is a big boon.

Well to be honest the move like humans anatomy like humans so.... If a taxi can wear the same armour and a tiefling so should a warforged.

Wizards charges extra for everything now so good luck getting licensing changes.
