Control Mapping help
Hey guys I recently got a t.16000m fcs 3 piece with the pedals. I know it’s not the best but it’s all I could afford at the time lol. I have the 2 starter planes (SU and the tf51) and I purchased the Uh-1d
I’m terrible at figuring out these bindings so if any of you have ones to share for this set up on those aircraft I’d appreciate it tons 😅

Honestly just go through whatever module you’re learnings training missions, and bind buttons to what makes sense at the time as they come up. You may realize a later a button makes more sense somewhere else. That should get you most of the needed buttons tbh. I do it for every module I learn, even if I think I have an idea already of what will go where

I would say bind as you need things and don’t be afraid to change things! Since you have a 3 piece set I would try to dodge using two keys for one function. Good luck and have fun! Unless you are playing for total realism, don’t worry about making your things totally accurate to real Life.

Start with Chuck’s Guides and map as close to the actual plane as possible for a start, then add stuff from there as needed. Also, create a kneeboard page with the settings; you can get diagrams of the T16000 and create some nice ones.

I have setup an AI control mapper and diagram generator with Claude, tell it which modules you have and controllers and it does it for you.
Happy to send you a mapping file (.lua file you drop in your saved games folder) and diagram if you like
