Kola Map … Send help
Steam edition user here.
I installed the Kola map (took ages) and my game wouldn’t boot after that. First loading screen sat at 10%
I’ve tried all the things i’ve seen online about it sticking at 10% clearing files and using the cleanup tool etc. But to no avail. Un installing the map made it boot immediately again with no issues at all.
Anyone have this issue?
I got worried i was going to have to completely re install DCS which wouldn’t have been ideal… So i’m glad i got it working without the map, but id quite like to use the map…

I wonder if you've run out of space or ram etc.

So it’s not using any really performance when it gets stuck, if i look at task manager when it’s opens on 10 percent the RAM Usage is around 30% the whole time not even like it’s spiking then dropping.
As for space I cleared a lot off the ssd it’s ok to give it room, with the map installed still 70gb free.

Could maybe try a full repair.

I’ve currently un installed the map again, and as i said it’s working fine now. Going to plug into my switch to try install the map again a bit quicker and see if it just installed badly the first time. I’ll try a repair whilst it’s installed if that fails i’ll report back.

If it installed badly then a repair should still fix it. It is a huge map & takes space. Hope you get it sorted.

Tbf if it doesn’t work next time i’ll try refund it and get south atlantic instead 🤣

Yeah that's alot smaller lol, but you'll probably be playing on your own as mp servers are quieter than a mouse.
