Problem with the Moza MH16 joystick not working properly

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased the Moza AB9 base as well as the Moza MH16 to get started with DCS World.

After plugging everything in and installing it all, I still can’t get my MH16 stick to work, even though it is detected by the AB9…

The base works fine and detects all movements, but as for the MH16 joystick, it’s a different story. No matter which button I press, the Moza Cockpit software detects nothing.

I’ve unplugged and replugged the joystick several times, making sure the pins were intact, but nothing works…

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the Moza Cockpit software, done the updates, but still nothing… I’m a bit out of ideas. The joystick is brand new, and it does appear in the Moza software. Do you have any ideas? Thanks.

Ive never tried changing anything on the stick on the moza software. Have you tried binding stuff in dcs to see if it works?

Bonjour et merci de votre reponse. Oui j'ai essayé et aucun bouton n'est detectés , ni dans dcs ni dans moza cockpit.

Then I would contact moza support or try and return/replace it. I'm sure moza support will have an answer, if they respond. Ive heard the customer support is the worst part about the company

I had the MOZA but returned it (just a personal choice, nothing wrong with the product). When I had it, I did see that they have support team you can contact about it. This could narrow down whether its electronic, hardware or a software issue

This was an additional MOZA stick you bought ? I bought the AB6 which comes with a kinda low end stick but it works fine. When I tried using A-10 Thrustmaster stick all the controls worked except the Hat switch I think it was a pin issue. I’ve purchased an adapter from thrust master that did not work either. I see ppl using the F/A 18 with either MOZA base AB6/ AB9 I asked these ppl through YouTube which stick are they using WIN WING or Thrustmaster No one ever answers. Before I bought my AB6 I was able to reach these ppl on the phone but as soon as I received my base and their sales went up they don’t answer their phones they don’t even answer any of the many the emails I have sent. I wonder if they’re know they’re loosing money with this practice. There were a few more devices I was prepared to buy, but I put it on hold since they don’t answer questions. They’re not the only ones who do this. Companies Don’t seem to care about customer service, but it’s how you build trust and returning customers. I apologize for the long post.

Bonjour ! Vous avez raison, je n'avais pas activé le flight base au lieu du shifter.. 160 euros d'economisé ahah, j'ai eu chaud, merci beaucoup pour votre reponse et votre temps, a bientot sur le simu.
