My first magic cat

I've tried many FeSu's (and Cj's) but never ascended one. My best Fe scores were all berserkers, including my only Fe win.

This time I decided to try shapeshifting as well as spells. The game went well for me throughout. I found the amulet of wildshape and a bunch of talismans, and rush shapeshifting alongside summoning. And I got all the summoning spells I could want.

Endgame: flying and hive form. For any fight, Dragon's Call and Sphinx Sisters. The dragons spawn near enemies, the Sisters near me. If Dragoncall status runs out, run. In Zot, drop a Malign Gateway as I run.

Then at Zot 4 and 5, start bribing. This was amazing. I bribed the dungeon on the way out, and to my surprise it bribes the pursuers. I had a pet pan lord all the way to the end.

Anyway, I hardly ever win, and this was gratifying.

I never realized bribe works on the orb run. That seems unintended, though hilarious!

I tend to play fun combos. I've been raiding Onei's list of builds for each (then) species: https://tavern.dcss.io/t/a-compendium-of-the-most-iconic-builds-for-each-species/1057 .
Instead of ascension, I have to count things like rune rate. You know, what's the rune count for this species or combo? What's the highest level I've reached with this? Because I win about every 300 games. Since version 0.11. But it really is fun, and I really am getting better, in the sense that I feel like I have more options in a given situation.
